Fremont Sunday Market (2025)

LOCATION: Downtown Fremont (3401 Evanston Ave N, Seattle, WA)

DATE: Sundays April-October, 10am-4pm (Rain or Shine)

Operating for 35 years, it features over 200 vendors rain or shine in the Center of the Universe, the Fremont neighborhood. Brunch, browse and shop an amazing selection of food trucks, handmade crafts, antiques, collectibles, vintage clothing, furniture and world imports.

Welcome to Seattle’s favorite year-round Sunday Market. It was founded in 1990 and modeled after the popular European markets enjoyed by the travelers Jon and Candace Hegeman who loved the vibrancy, color and activities they brought to communities.

By 1999 Fremont Market outgrew its boundaries spawning sister Farmers Markets in Ballard, Madrona, Wallingford, Georgetown, Queen Anne, Capital Hill neighborhoods.

The Market also contributed to the zany special attractions like the Seattle Outdoor Cinema and the Red White & Dead Zombie Walk. The Fremont’s Walking Guides and Historical markers were created by the Market to cement Fremont’s urban legend and bolster its appeal.

The Fremont Sunday Market is an ongoing experiment. We favor common sense, courtesy and intelligence over excessive bureaucracy. Our aim is to provide an accessible community marketplace for anyone who wants to sell their goods and try their ideas.

Our goal is to help people succeed and make the experience here fun and rewarding for all. We ask for your understanding, cooperation and comments as the markets continue to grow, change and evolve.

The Market is family owned and operated and strives to support local businesses here in the fabulous neighborhood in the Center of the Universe known as Fremont.

DATE: May 7, 2025 – May 13, 2025 9am-5pm (Rain or Shine)

The Pike Place Market has been a defining Seattle icon for more than a century. Considered by many “the soul of Seattle,” the Market spans nine historic acres in the center of downtown where everyday locals and tourists alike shop, visit, eat and discover.

Founded in 1907, the Market is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the United States and is brought to life by the hundreds of farmers, crafters, small businesses, and residents that call it “home”.

While the Market is grounded by its incredible collection of diverse businesses, activities, and services, it simply would not exist without the passion and support from the citizens of Seattle. From humble beginnings to nearly being destroyed – Seattle’s citizens have brought their hearts to the “soul of Seattle”

We hope you will visit us soon and plan to spend the day exploring one of the gems of Seattle. This market is open rain or shine!
